I have been in medicine for over 10 years and the Army Reserves for 15 years. I began as a medic in the army and worked my way to become a LVN on an orthopedic ward. I progressed through the Interservice Physician Assistant program through the Department of Defense. I have a passion for taking care of patients in any capacity I can. I hold a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the Interservice Physician Assistant program through the University of Nebraska Medical Center 2016.
Letty Rohana - MA
I am originally from Piedras Negras, Coah,. Mexico and I came to San Antonio to pursue my healthcare career. I have been a Certified Medical Assistant for 8 years, 2 of which has been working with Northeast Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. I have been assisting Dr. Simon for 3 years and I am responsible for scheduling surgeries, alongside assisting him and his clinics. My passion lies in Orthopaedics because I enjoy caring for patients and helping them through their rehabilitation journey. When I’m not working, my time is spent outdoors, specifically, mountain biking and hiking. I also try to spend the majority of my free time with my family. I enjoy watching my nieces and nephews grow.
David S. Suarez - MA
David was born and raised in San Antonio, where he graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. He then went on to Kaplan College to get certified as a Medical Assistant. David started his career 3 years ago, at a small family practice TPC Family Medicine, then began working for a Home Health Department. This is where David discovered he had a strong interest in one-on-one patient care. This patient care interest is what brought David to join Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Since becoming part of NEO, David states he really enjoys the bond and atmosphere the teams at NEO have not only with its employees, but more importantly with their patients.
In his free time, David enjoys going out with his friends and exploring different hiking locations in Texas.
